We've spent several years developing and perfecting our range of Beerworks - All Grain Beer Kits and we have to say we're very proud of our achievements. We think you'll have a lot of fun brewing them!

These kits are designed for the experienced brewer following the more traditional form of brewing and you'll need to have your own equipment. If you've brewed using beer kits in the past then we would suggest you watch the video entitled 'title goes here'. You can also take a look at the downloadable instructions (which are also included with the kit). Then you can decide whether you think you have the skills to brew this kit.

You are also going to need other items in order to get started with All Grain Brewing

Equipment and Misc Items Required:
  • Chemicals: Whilst the kit is complete you will need a good cleaner/steriliser like the Wineworks one.
  • Brewing Equipment: Many all grain brewers already have a kettle and suitable gas stove for boiling the wort. A Sparger for extracting the wort out of the remaining grain. A work chiller for quickly cooling the wort. Others will prefer a complete brewing system like the Grainfather or the Brewolution. These have all the fore mentioned and are very neat and compact and we highly recommend this route. You will also need suitable containers for fermenting the beer. Hydrometer and thermometer are also necessary with some form of mixing spoon. It’s important to keep your temperature between 20-25C. We would suggest you look at our starter kits and the guides for brewing beer.
  • Storage: You will need suitable barrels/Cornelius kegs or bottles for storing the finished beer. Have a look at the videos on bottling/barrelling your beer.

NOTE: Equipment for fermentation/brewing and storage/dispensing is not included and should be bought separately.

Passed the taste test!Review by Russ

My first all grain brew. Very good imitation of Landlord. Took a bottle to a friendly pub (with permission) to compare against the real thing. The local dedicated Landlord drinkers were asked to check a pint "to see what was wrong with it" (not telling them it was mine!) and they said there was nothing wrong with it. After revealing the truth it was decided that it was very slightly sweeter and was higher carbonated (was bottled). Anyway, the alcohol level is higher than the original (should be 4.3% mine turned out to be 6%) but it tastes great. I've moved to putting as little as 70g dextrous in the bottling bucket, but that still gasses it more than pub bought - though some prefer it! Recommended. (Posted on 11/10/2017)
Great Kit - Fantastic BeerReview by Phil W

I've just started brewing and purchased the Grainfather so I could brew from grain.
I tried a couple of recipes that meant me purchasing the ingredients separately and I produced some very good results, trouble is, I end up with leftover ingredients.
The beauty of the kits is that you only buy what you need so you don\'t have any leftovers.
The TT Landlord clone is a fantastic pint and I\'m about to reorder another 2 kits because it didn\'t last long once made. This kit produces a great pint that can\'t be distinguished from a decent pint in a pub.
I have to say the Grainfather is also excellent and very easy to use with a small footprint. The counterflow cooler is also very effective cooling the wort from 95 degrees to <20 degrees instantly. (Posted on 10/05/2016)

First ever brew since student days. Used a Brewster. It turned out great, and a bunch of friends came over, it was polished off in no time. The amount we managed to get out was only 16 litres, we boiled the hops with the lid off and maybe should have topped up during this. At barrelling it was extremely bitter, but 2 weeks in it was much more mellow, and I think a couple of weeks more would have made an outstanding pint. It was so good we (three of us brewing together), are ordering the kit again and will use it as a base to play with other hop types. You might save a few quid shopping around, but the delivery to Sweden was quick and the lady on the help line fantastic, so good value. (Posted on 11/10/2015)
A great pintReview by Dom B

Ordered this kit with my Grainfather and have just cracked it open after 8 weeks in a barrel. It should be noted at this point that this is my first all-grain brew so I have no real frame of reference from a brewing perspective. I do however know what a good beer in a pub tastes like and this would be right at home there!

It just tastes like proper beer - a good golden ale without any hint of those homebrew tangs that have been frequently present in the kit beers I have brewed.

I haven't got a TT landlord at hand to compare if this is an accurate replica or not. That said, I chose the landlord because I knew I always enjoy it - and I am enjoying this. One too!

As an aside this is also an endorsement for the grainfather: very easy to use and a really impressive result for my first all grain attempt!

This excludes the Isle of Wight, The Isles of Scilly, The Isle of Man, Northern Ireland, The Republic of Ireland and the Scottish Highlands. The Channel Islands and all other offshore destinations are also excluded from our free delivery offer. Orders to any of these excluded destinations will be quoted by our system, but may be subject to change at any time.

Scottish Highlands & Islands

Regrettably we are forced to pass on courier charges for some parts of Scotland and the Isles.

This is due to the way the couriers structure their networks and is unavoidable. Whilst larger retailers such as Amazon may offer flat rate shipping nationwide due to economies of scale, we are unable to do so.

We prefer to remain transparent with regards to shipping costs and endeavour to offer the best possible rates in these cases.

Dispatch & Next Day Services

Our aim is to send out the same day all orders received by 9am. Sometimes due to a heavy influx of orders (especially over weekends) we may need an extra day to do this. Orders will be dispatched such that you should receive them the next working day by courier (excluding Saturday and Sunday) or by 1st class post (this is not a guarantee, as no UK parcel carrier offers a 100% guarantee on their service). On the rare occasions where we may be let down, or if there is a problem with the order we will notify you.

Delivery Times

In most cases, Mainland UK delivery is by a 24 hour, next working day service on DPD or TNT. Orders to areas excluded from our free shipping offer may be on 48+ hour courier services due to logistical issues beyond our control. Small items are sent by Royal Mail 1st Class post untracked. These items are usually delivered within 24 hours, but this can vary (anywhere up to 10 working days), and is unfortunately beyond our control.
