Coronavirus Updates.

What we are doing to support our customers and our team at this challenging time.
Updated: 01/05/20 - 7:47 am.

We are now accepting a limited number of orders per day.

In order to keep our staff safe and to ensure reasonable delivery times, we are currently accepting a limited number of orders starting at 10 am each day. We will stop sales of Beer, Wine, and Cider kits and related products when we reach this limit. Still Spirits products are available at all times.

We aim to dispatch the majority of these within 24 hours, although some orders may take longer.

Certain product lines have been suspended to allow us to meet this target.

We can't guarantee any timings, so please bear with us and our delivery partners (DPD and Royal Mail) as everyone is doing their best to get your orders to you as fast as possible whilst continuing to follow government guidance.

We would ask our lovely customers to only order your normal amounts. We know your history and if larger orders are placed, we will simply cancel the whole order.

We have seen some orders ten times bigger than normal, and we really need to be fair to you all.

Our retail stores are shut until further notice.

To protect the health of our team, and our customers, we shut both of our retail stores. They will continue to remain closed in line with government rules.

We are currently accepting a limited number of orders per day.

We are now accepting a limited number of orders per day for Wine, Beer, and Cider products. Once this limit is reached, we will suspend sales of those products for the rest of the day. Sales recommence each day at 10 am.

Still Spirits products will be available at all times.

At all times we would ask you to be responsible when ordering, and only order your normal amounts. We have seen some orders up to ten times bigger than normal. We will cancel and refund any unreasonable orders to be fair to all customers.

Due to unprecedented demand and changes made to working patterns to protect our staff and customers, we are currently unable to guarantee orders placed before 2 pm will be dispatched same-day. We are currently working with a small backlog, so you should expect to see a 24 to 48-hour delay on average, although some orders may face slightly longer delays.

DPD & Royal Mail are operating in uncertain times with fluctuations in staff levels due to self-isolation, so some delays may be incurred.

Both Royal Mail & DPD are now working under a 'no contact' policy which means your delivery driver will not ask you to sign for your parcel but will instead log this manually.

Update: 26/04/20 - 3:27 pm.
Royal Mail are now reporting delays of up to 12 days in some areas. Please keep this in mind when selecting a shipping method or following up on delayed deliveries.

Update: 21/04/20 - 8:35 am.
DPD are experiencing delays of up to 24 hours some areas due to additional workload delivering NHS supplies to hospitals. Understandably DPD are prioritising these shipments.

Update: 14/04/20 - 4:55 pm.
Due to the continued increase in demand for our products we are now accepting a limited number of orders per day. This is to ensure we maintain strict social distancing, allow our team time to rest where necessary, and dispatch orders within reasonable timeframes.

Update: 06/04/20 - 8:51am.
We are now accepting orders as normal. We are currently operating at 95% of normal capacity. We have staff working additional shifts, 7 days a week to ensure we meet demand whilst maintaining strict social distancing and sanitising standards.

Update: 20/03/20 - 8:11 pm.
We are no longer accepting orders on our website. Our fantastic team is working extended hours (and will be through the weekend) to clear our current backlog. To ease the pressure we have currently suspended the website to allow them to get on top of this situation. We will post regular updates and ask for your understanding at this time.

Update: 20/03/20 - 6:41 pm.
DPD is currently experiencing abnormal demand, and as such we have experienced some delays in getting collection vehicles to us. Thankfully as we operate multiple sites with multiple collections, and dispatch 6 days a week, this is yet to have any major impact on us.

Stock & Availability

All of our products are available online (with the exception of a handful of special-order wine kits) are in stock and ready for dispatch. We maintain stock levels in anticipation of market fluctuations to ensure we can get your favourite products to you as quickly as possible.

Changes to pricing.

Unfortunately, we have had to increase the prices of (or suspend discounts on) some product ranges on the website as supplier costs have increased during the pandemic. This is mostly due to the fact that most suppliers have seen their costs increasing with changes to working practices to maintain social distancing and the demand on raw materials.

We have made a pledge not to increase any prices over the Recommended Retail Price, as we have seen elsewhere online.

All our Own Label products (Wineworks, Beerworks, Ciderworks etc) will not see any price increases.

Update: 14/04/2020 - 1:15 pm
We continue to maintain good stocks of key products and we are working closely with our suppliers to maintain the supply of the most popular product lines.

Update: 06/04/2020 - 8:47am
We have good stocks of most product lines available for dispatch within 24 hours (in most cases). We continue to work with our suppliers to ensure we can continue to stock your favourite products.

Update: 19/03/2020 - 12:17pm
We have withdrawn our Beerworks Part Grain and All Grain beer kits from sale as these products are assembled in-house. Whilst staff use full PPE when producing these kits (gloves/apron/mask), we believe temporarily withdrawing these products is the only acceptable course of action for the safety of our customers.

Our Stores

Both of our retail stores are currently closed.

We would ask, where possible, that customers make payment by card/contactless rather than cash.

Phone lines are currently closed.

We have made the difficult decision to close our phone lines at this time. This is primarily to allow us to split our workload between smaller teams, working split shifts, in order to limit contact between staff members and thus protect the health of our staff, our customers, and the wider community as much as possible.

We would ask that customers place orders online, and any enquiries are made by email or via our contact form, where we will endeavour to respond as quickly as possible, and within 24 hours at most.

Safeguarding our Staff & Customers

In response to the current COVID-19 situation in the UK, we would like to take this opportunity to reassure you that Love Brewing has already taken a number of precautionary actions to ensure that we can continue offering the best service for you whilst keeping our team safe:

  • We are following all guidance and advice issued by H.M. Government and Public Health England.
  • We are operating as normal and have so far had ZERO suspected cases of Coronavirus in the business.
  • We have put in an even more rigorous cleaning regime for our showroom shops to help protect customers and staff alike.
  • We are providing hand sanitizer for all our customers to us on entry and upon leaving our stores.
  • All contact points in our stores, workstations, offices, and packing areas are sanitised regularly throughout the day.
  • We are encouraging our team to follow best hygiene practices as recommended by the World Health Organisation.
  • Admin and support staff are working from home as per government guidelines.
  • Our dispatch staff are working in smaller teams in split shifts to minimise contact between team members whilst allowing us to meet current demand.

To confirm, so far, we have had zero suspected cases of Coronavirus  and we are monitoring the situation very closely. We will keep you updated on the situation via email, but if you would like to find out more information, please see the current government information and advice here.
