Distiller's Yeast Gin

For those wanting to ferment with genuine yeast strains when making Whiskey, Rum, Vodka, or Gin, look no further than the Distiller’s range for home craft distilling!

Distiller’s Yeasts:

Whiskey - A specialist active dried Whiskey distiller’s yeast producing an optimum congener profile for elegant, well-rounded, and refined whiskey spirit for oak aging.

Gin - A particularly clean active dried yeast, specially selected for Gin production. This strain gives a neutral congener profile, making clean and crisp spirit alcohol perfect for showcasing your botanicals.

Vodka- A specialist active dried Vodka distiller’s yeast with an extremely low congener profile for the production of rounded vodka spirit with a clean authentic finish.

Rum - A specialist active dried Rum distiller’s yeast. This strain produces an optimum congener profile for full-flavoured, smooth, and rounded Rum spirit.

Distiller’s Nutrients:

Dark Spirits - Yeast nutrient blend specially formulated for enhanced congener production during fermentation of alcohol for dark spirits.

Light Spirits - Yeast nutrient blend specially formulated for reduced off-flavour production during fermentation of alcohol for light/white spirits.

Distiller's Enzymes:

Glucoamylase - Glucoamylase is a fungal-derived enzyme which breaks down dextrins into simple sugars.

High-Temperature Alpha-amylase - Alpha-amylase is a bacterially-derived enzyme that breaks down starch into dextrins and simple sugars.

Note:

These yeasts have been reformulated and no longer contain nutrients. You will need to add nutrient and enzyme (so you can create a totally bespoke fermentation) but please read the guide in the booklet provided depending on the mash you are doing. This is really important as the yeast on its own will produce very poor results.

We operate a simple structure for UK & Ireland deliveries

https://www.lovebrewing.co.uk/delivery/

Our Free Shipping offer excludes some products and destinations, primarily oversized or overweight items requiring specialist delivery or palletisation. Products impacted are generally identified as such on the product page.

Dispatch & Next-Day Services

Our aim is to send out the same day all orders received by 9am. Sometimes due to a heavy influx of orders (especially over weekends) we may need an extra day to do this. Orders will be dispatched such that you should receive them the next working day by courier (excluding Saturday and Sunday) or by 1st class post (this is not a guarantee, as no UK parcel carrier offers a 100% guarantee on their service). On the rare occasions where we may be let down, or if there is a problem with the order we will aim to notify you.

Delivery Times

In most cases, Delivery to England, Wales, and Lowland Scotland is by a 24 hour, next working day service by DPD. The Scottish Highlands & Islands, Northern Ireland and all other offshore destinations are usually on a 48+ hour courier services due to logistical issues beyond our control. Small items are sent by Royal Mail 1st Class post untracked. These items are usually delivered within 24 hours, but this can vary (anywhere up to 10 working days), and is unfortunately beyond our control.
